NEW COMMUNITY GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS FORMING
Cape Cod’s Leading Hospice Provider Offers Help toThose Experiencing Grief and/ or Loss

 

HYANNIS - The Grief Support Center of Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod announces new grief and loss support groups forming for winter, 2008. These ongoing groups are open to adults dealing with the loss of a loved one or friend in the past two years, regardless of whether we have served the family as a hospice provider before. Groups are led by licensed clinicians and require advance registration. Sessions are offered at no cost for Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod’s patients and families who have experienced a loss in the past 13 months. There is a $10 per session charge for general community members. However, no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

Ongoing Bereavement Support Groups: Pre-registered only.

Living Through Grief - for adults who have had a loss within the past 2 years 
(two separate groups in Hyannis & Falmouth)

 NEW CEO NAMED

TO HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE CARE OF CAPE COD
David W. Rehm of the Washington Home and Community Hospices to Lead the Cape’s Premier Hospice Organization 
 HYANNIS – Dec. 19, 2007 – Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod (H &PCCC) is pleased to announce that David W. Rehm has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer and is slated to begin sometime in early February. He succeeds Marilyn Hannus, who is retiring after 22 years with H & PCCC. The organization is Cape Cod’s longest serving and only freestanding non-profit hospice.
 
“I’m excited about the opportunity to provide the next generation of leadership to an organization with such a proud heritage of service to the Cape Cod community”, Mr. Rehm said. “My wife and I are delighted to be returning home to Southern New England.”
