Take a walk with us

Strolling along a sun-dappled garden walk is one of life’s greatest pleasures. The fresh air, the wind through the leaves, the sweet sound of songbirds, the sense of inner peace. This experience is what we have created with the Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod Memorial Garden Walk.

The walk is located in the gardens at our McCarthy Care Center, our patient residence in Sandwich, MA. The walk gives comfort to our residents and the many people who visit them, as well as to the staff and dedicated volunteers.

The path is shaped by granite bricks donated by many of our Hospice supporters, containing names of their loved friends and family members, and inspirational messages.

Celebrate the life of someone dear to you by choosing a brick to reflect a friend who loved nature, a favorite relative whose personality brought light to your life, or someone with whom you shared precious moments. As you honor the memory of a loved one, your gift also provides much needed funding to maintain our Hospice House to the highest standards of comfort and care.
